Sensory Trauma

Sensory Trauma and Autism is an online training course that shines a light on this neglected and often misunderstood dimension of autistic experience. The course comprises a series of short films that set out the different aspects of Sensory Trauma as well as the impact that Sensory Trauma can have in the lives of autistic people. Created by a team of autistic and non-autistic trainers, the course makes extensive use of the first-person testimony of autistic individuals. The course includes written learning materials (PDFs) as well as a reading/resources list for course participants who wish to explore Sensory Trauma at greater depth. This is an online course that you can complete in your own time and at your own pace over a month.
